Parbhani man made bomb, sent pics to ISIS
Aurangabad: The Maharashtra anti-terrorism squad (ATS) told a special court on Wednesday that suspected Islamic State operative Nasir alias Qadir Abu Bakr Yafai Chaush had allegedly already assembled a bomb using materials sourced from Nagpur, Pune and Hyderabad and sent pictures of the explosive to his Syria-based handler.The state ATS arrested the 31-year-old diploma engineer from Parbhani district, around 185km from Aurangabad, for his alleged links with the IS, earlier this month. He was remanded in police custody for seven days until Wednesday .
Special public prosecutor Sudesh Shirsath representing the ATS, told the court headed by special judge S L Pathan that the IS suspect had assembled a bomb with the material collected from different cities in and outside the state.
