Sterlite Q3 profit up 75 per cent
MUMBAI: Sterlite Industries India reported a 74.53% rise in net profit at Rs 150.24 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 86.08 crore for the corresponding quarter in previous fiscal.
Total income has increased 98.99% to Rs 2178.43 crore for the Q3 of current fiscal from Rs 1094.71 crore in the year-ago period, it informed BSE. Income attributable to the consolidated group stood at Rs 395.03 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
