On Friday, refugees from Pakistan and Afghanistan staged a protest near the Congress headquarters, expressing their discontent with statements made by leaders of the opposition bloc INDIA regarding the CAA. The demonstrators brandished placards and chanted slogans directed at Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
Arvind Kejriwal remarked, “The audacity of these individuals from Pakistan? Initially, they illegally infiltrated our nation, violating our laws. They should have been detained. Do they possess the audacity to protest and cause disturbances within our borders? Following the enactment of the CAA, individuals from Pakistan and Bangladesh will scatter across the nation, causing inconvenience to the populace. In their self-serving pursuit of securing votes, the BJP is plunging the entire nation into turmoil.”
