Bharti Airtel Conducts India’s First 5G Trial In A Rural Area; Stock Trading Plan.

Bharti Airtel has conducted India’s first 5G trial at a rural location in the village of Bhaipur Bramanan on the outskirts of the Delhi-NCR region, in partnership with Ericsson.
“The test shows the enormous potential 5G offers to bridge the digital divide by enabling high-speed broadband access through solutions such as Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) services,” said Bharti Airtel in a regulatory document to the stock exchanges.

Bharti Airtel carried out the 5G test in the midband test spectrum in the 3,500 MHz band and in the existing FDD spectrum band. The infrastructure was powered by Ericsson’s 3GPP compliant 5G radio.
Ericsson provides information and communications technology to telecommunications operators through networks, digital services and emerging businesses. Meanwhile, the issue of Bharti Airtels’ rights was thrown open on Tuesday.
Rights shares were locked in the upper loop of 40 percent at ₹ 204.50 on the BSE on Tuesday, that is, the first day of subscription.
At 10:50 am, Bharti Airtel shares are trading unchanged at ₹ 699 on the BSE in a moderate market.
