Indian competitor Praveen Kumar (Sport Class T44) on Friday secured a silver award in the men’s high leap T64 last at the continuous Tokyo Paralympics.
Praveen enrolled bounces of 1.88m, 1.93m and 2.01m prior to making the Asian Record as he jumped to the sign of 2.07m in the finals.
Praveen cleared 1.88m in his first endeavor and was tied at the top after his initial leap before Jonathan Broom-Edwards of Great Britain brought down him.
The Indian competitor then, at that point cleared the 1.93m imprint in his next endeavor to possess the third spot.
In subsequent attempts, Praveen broke through the 2.01 meter mark, and continued to maintain a good condition, further breaking through the 2.04 mark.
