Afghanistan: The United Arab Emirates and Qatar have been key support points for Western citizens and Afghan interpreters to evacuate flights.
A senior UAE official said on Thursday that since the Taliban took over Kabul, the UAE has helped to evacuate 28,000 people from Afghanistan.
The UAE and Qatar have been important support stations for evacuating citizens of Western countries, Afghan interpreters, journalists and others.
Western nations including Britain, France and the US are scrambling to triumph ultimately the remainder of their residents and secured Afghans out while Poland and the Netherlands are wrapping up their activities.

The official said that Abu Dhabi expects the operation to be completed by the end of this month, which coincides with the August 31 deadline set by US President Joe Biden.
