The Former Mayor Of Bihar Was Town DeadShot By Bike-Borne Assailants: Police.
Katihar Police Chief Vikas Kumar said Shivraj Paswan (45 years old) was shot and killed by a motorcycle attacker near a temple in the city.
A previous mayor of Katihar town in north Bihar, who was chosen for the post scarcely a couple of months prior and held it till June, was fired dead by unidentified shooters on Thursday night, a police official said.
Shivraj Paswan (45) was shot at by cruiser borne aggressors near a sanctuary in the town, said Katihar Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar.
Paswan was quickly taken to a medical clinic where he capitulated to wounds, the SP said.
He was chosen for the post unopposed in March after it fell empty upon his archetype Vijay Singh turning into an individual from the state Assembly from the Barari voting public.
The SP said examinations were on to recognize and capture the guilty parties.
