IPO GMP Face-Off: Globe Civil Projects vs Ellenbarrie vs Kalpataru — What the Grey Market Is Indicating
Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases is one of five new offerings on the IPO market today. Even if subscriptions are slow, analysts say that investor interest and attitude are favourable, even though each firm faces unique hurdles, especially with regard to valuation and operational issues.
With five new IPOs, including the Globe Civil Projects IPO, Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases IPO, and Kalpataru IPO, entering the primary market today (Tuesday, June 24), the initial public offering (IPO) scene is expected to be exciting this week, despite the slow subscription rate. This surge comes after a steady rise in investor zeal, underscoring the continuous need for fresh share offers.
According to analysts, the market is still feeling upbeat overall, helped by favourable liquidity conditions, growing institutional and retail investor engagement, and strengthening macroeconomic indicators. More confidence and interest in the primary market are being fostered by the recent IPOs’ impressive performance.
According to Arun Kejriwal, founder of Kejriwal Research and Investment Services, the three businesses—Kalpataru, Globe Civil Projects, and Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases—operate in different industries and cannot be directly compared.
Kejriwal went over each of them individually, pointing out that Globe Civil Projects’ limited size and turnover make it impractical for investors to consider it for large returns.
Since Kalpataru necessitates a longer-term outlook and the possibility of medium-term returns is still questionable, it is currently a less appealing and secure real estate investment due to issues with debt and inventories.
In contrast to its rivals, which are valued at 130 times, Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases is actually more reasonably priced, despite its seemingly high 70-fold valuation.
The fact that Ellenbarrie is a smaller business that is currently experiencing significant growth is a plus. Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases is the most secure option among the three.
