
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Debuts with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip and 200MP Camera
Samsung on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) launched the Galaxy S25 Edge in global markets including India.
The new Galaxy S25 Edge fits in the Galaxy 25 series and is the fourth phone in the lineup with siblings like Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge features all the Galaxy AI features found in other smartphones in this series.
The Galaxy S25 Edge has a 6.7 inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. It has a slim 5.8mm profile and claims a weight of 163 grams. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 at front and Victus 2 on back.
Galaxy S25 Edge holds a 3,900 mAh battery which can support up to 25 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging and reverse charging. It is IP68 rated as well.
Samsung has used an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in the Galaxy S25 Edge with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. It also has redesigned vapor chamber for constant heat dissipation, as claimed.
The Galaxy S25 Edge runs on One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge sports a 200 MP main camera along with a 12 MP ultrawide sensor. It has a 12 MP front lens for selfies.
Galaxy S25 Edge will sell in Titanium Silver and Titanium Jetblack colours in India.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will start at ₹1,09,999 for the 12 GB/256 GB variant while the 12 GB/512 GB model costs ₹1,21,999. The pre-order starts today across online and retail stores.
