Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth Wed in Sabyasachi Attire at 400-Year-Old Wanaparthy Temple
Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth just got married in an intimate ceremony as confirmed to Vogue India exclusively in our Wedding Book earlier this month, “the wedding will be centred around a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy that is of significance to my family”. The couple opted for traditional elegance, both choosing to wear Sabyasachi creations for the occasion.
Aditi Rao Hydari wore a handwoven Maheshwari tissue lehenga paired with a Benarasi tissue dupatta from the archives of the Sabyasachi Heritage Textile collection. The golden blouse complemented the shimmering ensemble and was accessorised with exquisite gold and ruby jewellery adding a regal touch and a beautiful white mogra gajra. The ensembles paid a beautiful homage to their South Indian roots.
Siddharth, matching Aditi’s understated elegance, wore a classic white silk kurta with subtle, sophisticated embroidery, along with a traditional dhoti and veshti of his own. His look exuded simplicity yet maintained a refined sense of tradition.
