On its fourth day at the box office, “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar” starring Randeep Hooda has maintained its steady earnings. Over the preceding three days, the film has garnered slightly above ₹2 crore in India. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the movie has accumulated approximately ₹8.25 crore nett in India up to this point. “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar” was released in Hindi and Marathi languages on Friday.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned ₹1.05 crore ₹1.04 crore; Marathi: ₹1 lakh] on its first day and ₹2.25 crore on Saturday. On its third day, Sunday, it collected ₹2.7 crore nett in India in Hindi, and on day 4, it made ₹2.25 crore, as per early estimates. Swatantrya Veer Savarkar had an overall 29.61 percent Hindi occupancy on Monday.

In a recent interview with ANI, Randeep Hooda stated, “The film depicts the life of Veer Savarkar, spanning from 1897 to 1950. I have addressed all the misinformation surrounding him with confidence. Upon receiving this project, I realized the need for physical transformation to resemble him, hence I underwent weight loss for the role.”
In discussing his research process, he remarked, “As I delved into his story, I discovered my own lack of knowledge about him beyond his incarceration at Kala Pani. It became evident that there are numerous aspects of his life not covered in our educational curriculum or public discourse. Mentioning his name often stirs controversy. This realization fueled my determination to undertake this film. Despite concerns from some of my supporters that associating with this project would align me with a specific political party or ideology, I proceeded with it.”
