Downdetector, an outage tracking website, has logged more than 300,000 Facebook outages and over 47,000 outage reports for Instagram globally.
Meta, led by Mark Zuckerberg, stated that they are actively working to resolve the issue.
Meta spokesperson Andy Stone acknowledged the difficulties users are facing in accessing our services. He stated in a post on X social media platform that they are currently addressing the issue.
In a later post, Stone said that the issue was fixed.
Earlier today, a technical glitch resulted in some users experiencing difficulties accessing certain services. We promptly resolved the issue for all affected individuals and apologize for any inconvenience caused,” stated Stone.
Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Messenger not working
Around 8:56 pm, users encountered difficulties loading content on their feeds. Reports indicate issues with the app, login process, and content uploading.
The London-based internet monitoring firm Netblocks, as reported on X, stated that four Meta platforms—Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Threads—are currently experiencing outages related to login sessions across multiple countries.
