According to reports, Prince Harry will soon be returning to the United Kingdom in light of the recent announcement regarding King Charles’ cancer diagnosis. Buckingham Palace revealed on Monday that King Charles III, aged 75, has been diagnosed with cancer. The palace statement also mentioned that immediate treatment has begun, resulting in a temporary suspension of his public engagements.

The 39-year-old royal family member is scheduled to arrive in London on Monday, as confirmed by the official spokesperson for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Additionally, as news of his diagnosis circulated, he reportedly engaged in a discussion with King Charles, as per UK media reports.
On Monday, Buckingham Palace refrained from disclosing specific details regarding Charles’s illness. However, there are accounts suggesting that King Charles personally conveyed information about his health to each of his sons. Following his medical diagnosis, he reached out to his siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, along with his children, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle will not go to see King Charles
According to reports from Page Six, Meghan Markle, Harry’s spouse, along with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be joining him on his trip. However, an official confirmation regarding this matter is still pending.
There is currently no confirmed information regarding Prince William and Kate Middleton. Kate, who holds the title of Princess of Wales, is in the midst of recuperating from her recent abdominal surgery, which necessitated her hospitalization for approximately two weeks.
King Charles diagnosed with cancer
Following King Charles’ recent three-night hospitalization for a corrective procedure concerning an enlarged prostate, the diagnosis was made. “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer,” read Buckingham Palace’s official statement on Monday.
“His Majesty has now begun a regimen of regular treatments, and on medical advice, he has been advised to defer public engagements,” the palace’s statement continued. “Throughout this period, His Majesty will maintain his responsibilities for State affairs and official documentation as usual,” it further stated.
