Actor-model Poonam Pandey passed away on Thursday night at the age of 32. A statement shared from her official Instagram account cited cervical cancer as the cause of her death.
The news left many in disbelief, with questions arising about the authenticity of the post. Poonam’s team reiterated the confirmation to News18 in an interview, stating, “She passed away last night.” Additionally, Poonam’s manager, Parul Chawla, verified the model’s demise to ANI.

Accompanied by folded hands and a heart emoji, the Instagram post from Poonam Pandey expressed, “Today brings heavy hearts as we share the heartbreaking news of the loss of our dear Poonam to cervical cancer. Her presence exuded pure love and kindness to all she encountered. During this period of mourning, we kindly request privacy as we cherish the memories of our time together.”
Her team also verified to News18, stating, “She departed last night.”
In 2022, she appeared on the reality show Lock Upp season 1, hosted by actor Kangana Ranaut. Poonam Pandey’s most recent Instagram post, shared three days ago, featured her attending a party in Goa, where she posted a video of herself enjoying the event.
