Today, PM Modi visits Kerala for 2 days, 5pm Kochi roadshow
In Kochi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive for a two-day visit, just two weeks after his previous visit to the state.
On Tuesday evening, Modi is slated to reach Kochi and lead a 1.3 km roadshow from Maharaja’s College ground to the Guest House at 5 pm.
During his visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to tour two significant temples in Thrissur district: Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple and Triprayar Sree Rama Swami Temple, as announced by state BJP President K Surendran. To accommodate the occasion, a regional holiday has been proclaimed for educational institutions, including professional colleges, in Thrissur.
Wednesday morning will see his journey to Guruvayur, where he’ll participate in the revered Lord Krishna temple’s prayers and the wedding ceremony of actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi’s daughter. Additionally, he is scheduled to offer prayers at the Triprayar Sree Rama Swami Temple in Thrissur district on the same day.
Following that, the Prime Minister will head back to Kochi, where he is set to participate in a party meeting involving approximately 6,000 in-charges of ‘shakti kendras,’ each overseeing two to three booth-level areas. Modi will also be engaged in programs related to central government projects before returning to Delhi in the evening.
Surendran mentioned that the people are enthusiastic about Modi’s return to Kerala for the second time in two weeks. In the preceding month, the PM inaugurated and laid foundations for projects amounting to Rs 1,150 crore in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Subsequently, he participated in a BJP-organized women’s convention in Thrissur.
