Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov met in a friendly duel when the fighter visited Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov’s love of soccer was present for his fans when he attended English Premier League club Manchester United at Old Trafford Stadium.
Khabib, who is often seen supporting United through his social media posts, also met footballers Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo. In short clips of his meeting with the footballers, he also shared a snippet that looked like the pregame showdown before the UFC fights.
Both Ronaldo and Khabib wore an intense gaze as they went head-to-head before the friendly duel turned into a warm hug. They also exchanged a friendly wrestling match but with big smiles on their faces. Khabib shared these moments on social media and wrote:
“He is the best of all, he continues to do your things Champ, you inspire millions of people around the world @Christiano”.
A couple of days ago, the fighter had also posted moments with former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson with a caption that read: “It was a great honor to speak with a legend.”
Ronaldo did not appear in United’s starting lineup for the Everton game recently. The match finally ended in a draw.
Both Pogba and Ronaldo came on as substitutes but failed to inspire their team to victory as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was left scratching his head on near misses throughout the match.
Manchester United are currently fourth in the Premier League table with four wins, two draws and one loss.
They are scheduled to face Leicester City, away, on October 16.
