The New Taliban Government Will Decide On Flights To Kabul Airport: Germany.
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said: “The Taliban want to form a new government, which will show us whether our requirements for inclusiveness have been met.”
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Tuesday that Germany will wait for the Taliban to form a new government to see if Islamists have fulfilled their promise to allow civilians to leave Afghanistan by flight from Kabul Airport.
“The Taliban have promised, but in the next few days and weeks, we will know if we can count on this,” Mas said at a press conference in Islamabad with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmoud Qureshi.
He added: “The Taliban wants to form a new government, which will show us whether our requirements for inclusiveness have been met.”
