Nifty Surpassed 17,000 For The First Time, Sensex Surpassed 57,000 In A Wide Range Of Purchases.
NSE Nifty set the fastest rebound of 1,000 points, rising from 16,000 points to 17,000 points in just 19 trading days.
On Tuesday afternoon, NSE Nifty broke the 17,000 point mark, setting a record high because the buying momentum of the previous trading day continued unabated. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex index broke the 57,000 hour mark early in the morning. At 12:45 pm, BSE Sensex reported 57,064.73, up 287.50 points or 0.49%, and Nifty reported 17,018.50, up 87 points or 0.52%. The market was also strong, with the BSE mid-cap index and BSE small-cap index rising 0.7% and 0.9%, respectively. And all industry indexes are green.
The Nifty has logged its quickest 1,000-point rally, moving from 16,000 to 17,000 inside a simple 19 exchanging meetings.
On the economy front, the National Statistical Office will deliver the GDP numbers for the April-June quarter post market hours. The Reserve Bank said, toward the finish of its MPC meet on August 6, that it expects June quarter GDP to develop at 21.4 percent.
On the stock-explicit front, Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Finance acquired than 2% on the NSE. Shree Cements, Hindalco and Ultratech Cements were the other critical gainers on the NSE.
Bharti Airtel, in its founding chairman Sunil Mittal, said that wireless operators hope to improve their access to growth capital and reduce debt leverage on the second day of rising. Mr. Mittal added that the company will not avoid further price increases, but will gradually move towards them.
On the other hand, Tata Motors, Nestlé, Mahindra & Mahindra and IndusInd Bank each fell about 1% on NSE.
