Jessica Leidolph enters the closer of two leopards in Germany.
On Tuesday, A 36-year-old model was seriously injured by a leopard while taking a photo in Germany. Local news agencies identified the woman as Jessica Leidolph, who entered the enclosure of two leopards in an animal shelter in eastern Germany. According to reports, the owner has a nursing home for performance animals.
Ms Leidolph had willfully entered the fenced in area of the panthers, Troy and Paris, at the private property in Nebra in the territory of Saxony-Anhalt, when she was assaulted. “It [the leopard] was continually gnawing my cheek, my ear, my head,” she told News Agencies.
Ms Leidolph was taken to the medical clinic by helicopter. It isn’t clear who had orchestrated the photoshoot or who was shooting Ms Leidolph, yet police said she experienced genuine head wounds. She went through an activity which was effective, in spite of the fact that she will in any case have scars from the assault.
Jessica Leidolph portrays herself as a creature darling on her site. She possesses a pony, felines, pigeons and parrots.
Steven Muller-Uhrig, spokesperson for the Burgenland region, said that local authorities are now investigating the attack, “but there is no danger to the people.”
Birgit Stache, 48, the owner of a nursing home, declined to comment. According to her website, she is an animal trainer, accepting previous advertisements or displaying animals. These two leopards once appeared in Panasonic advertisements.
The law of Saxony-Anhalt allows people to keep big cats under “specified conditions”. The school district is now verifying whether Mrs. Stache can still own her animals. The police said: “We are investigating attempts to injure the body.”
