Ligue 1: The Stadium Has Been Suspended For Good Hits, And The Marseille Physio Is Suspended Due To The French Mayhem.
The French League told Nice that spectators will not be allowed to participate in Saturday’s game against Bordeaux on the Allianz Riviera due to the invasion of the venue and large-scale fighting between fans, players and staff.
Nice was ordered to play his next home game behind closed doors on Wednesday, while a staff member behind the scenes in Marseille was suspended due to the chaos in the Ligue 1 between the two teams last weekend. The French League (PFL) told Nice that spectators will be expelled from the Allianz Riviera game against Bordeaux on Saturday as punishment for the invasion of the stadium and large-scale quarrels between fans, players and staff. Marseille’s physical coach Pablo Fernandez was suspended as a precaution after he was accused of beating fans.
Last Saturday’s down was stopped following 75 minutes when Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet tossed a jug, which had been focused on him, back into the Nice finish of the arena.
That provoked many fans to attack the pitch and stand up to Payet.
Marseille in the end wouldn’t play on, dreading for their security, and the game was deserted with Nice driving 1-0.
The PFL added that further measures are probably going to be declared viewing more endorses just as the destiny of the actual game.
In the interim, a Nice ally blamed for pointing a kick at Payet was to show up in court.
“He will be introduced to the court toward the finish of his police authority for ‘unlawful interruption on the playing region upsetting a game’ and ‘intentional viciousness in social affairs’,” said the delegate public investigator, Jean-Philippe Navarre.
“This individual focused on a kick at Dimitri Payet,” he said.
The man, who is almost 30, has history with the courts for episodes inconsequential to wear.
