Air India’s 78-Passenger Flight From Afghanistan To Delhi.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Alindan Bach said that the evacuees arrived by plane from Kabul.
An Air India flight carrying 78 passengers (including 25 Indian nationals) is flying from Dushanbe, Tajikistan to New Delhi, and is safely evacuated from Afghanistan.
Taking to Twitter, Ministry of External Affairs representative Arindam Bagchi said evacuees were flown in from Kabul.
“Aiding in the protected return from Afghanistan. Man-made intelligence 1956 on the way to Delhi from Dushanbe conveying 78 travelers, including 25 Indian nationals. Evacuees were flown in from Kabul on a @IAF_MCC airplane. @IndEmbDushanbe,” tweeted Mr Bagchi.
The travelers on board the flight yelled trademarks for a protected return from Afghanistan.
Earlier, due to the deteriorating situation in war-torn Afghanistan, Indian authorities evacuated 75 Sikhs on Monday.
After the Taliban came to power last week, people were eager to leave Afghanistan, and the situation in Afghanistan was getting worse. On August 15, shortly after President Ashraf Ghani left the country, the government collapsed.
Countries have been evacuating their citizens from their own countries. At the same time, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the government is committed to the safe return of all Indian citizens from Afghanistan.
