The Ranji Trophy Will Start On January 5th, And The Advanced Cricket Will Start With Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 On October 27th.
BCCI stated that India’s premier national championship Ranji Trophy will now be held from January 5th to March 20th, and the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy will begin on October 27th.
BCCI has released a new schedule for Indian national cricket. The Ranji Trophy tournament for the 2021-22 season is scheduled to be held from January 5th to March 20th. Due to COVID-19, the Ranji Trophy was not held last season. The pandemic and the logistical obstacles faced by expanding the bio-bubble for 38 teams. The game is back on the BCCI national calendar, but senior men’s cricket will start on October 27, and the Said Mustak Ali trophy will be held after the IPL to ensure that there are high-quality cricket players.
The Vijay Hazare Trophy will be held from December 1st to 29th, and the older women will participate in their first competition, the National One-Day Tournament, from October 20th to November 20th.
The season begins with ladies’ and men’s U-19 one dayers (Vinoo Mankad Trophy) beginning September 20 and it would be trailed by U-19 Challenger Trophy for all kinds of people beginning October 25 and 26 separately.
The U-25 one dayers will be held from November 9 to December 10 while the CK Nayudu Trophy (likewise U-25 from earlier year’s U-23) will begin from January 6.
Groupings
For the senior men’s competitions (Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy), the 38 groups will be isolated into six gatherings.
There will be five Elite Groups with six groups each and one Plate bunch with eight groups.
For U-25 level, there will be five Elite Groups of six groups each and one Plate gathering of seven groups.
