Sushmita Dev, who has joined the Trinamool Congress, said: “I have a long-term relationship with Congress. During my 30 years in politics, I have not made any requests to the top of Congress. I hope that the chairman of Congress will forgive me for my shortcomings.”
Sushmita Dev has moved from Congress to Trinamool Congress and today declined to elaborate on the reasons for his change, but stated that he “has no problems with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.” “I (with them) have a good equation, but I am also responsible to my people,” he said later.

Ms Dev said today that “It isn’t right to look at Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi and TMC pioneer Abhishek Banerjee”.
He added that his participation in the Trinamool Congress was “unconditional.”
“Any work given to me, I will work hard to complete it, without any requirements,” he added.
