Olympic silver medalist Mirabai Chanu recently met with Salman Khan, and the Bollywood star shared a photo of their reunion on his Twitter profile on Wednesday night. Salman Khan congratulated the weightlifter on returning from the Tokyo Olympics for winning the silver medal. In his headline, Salman Khan wrote: “Happy for you, Silver Medalist Mirabai Chanu.” He added in the headline: “It’s nice to meet you…forever blessings. “In response to Salman Khan’s tweet, Mirabai Chanu wrote: “Thank you very much, Mr. Salman Khan. I am a big fan of you, and this is like a dream come true for me.” Raby Chanu was the first Indian to win a medal at the Tokyo Olympics. She lifted a total of 202 kg (87 kg + 115 kg) and brought home the women’s 49 kg silver medal.
