After the company announced its return to profitability in the June quarter, IRCTC’s share price hit a record high of Rs 2,727 on the BSE. On Thursday, IRCTC opened at BSE at 2,595rupees,the intraday high was 2,727.95 rupees, and the intra day low was 2,571.70 rupees.
In terms of departmental revenue, IRCTC’s catering revenue fell 37% in the June quarter to 56 million rupees, compared to 89 million rupees in the same period last year. The company’s Internet ticketing revenue for the quarter was 149 million rupees, compared with 35 million rupees in the same period last year.
In NSE, IRCTC opened at Rs 2,593.95, the intraday high was Rs 2,728.85, and the intraday low was Rs 2,572.25. In the last transaction, NSE rose 4.54% to 2,689.05 rupees.
