Delhi Minister Gopal Rai Returned After Undergoing A Month Of Treatment In Mumbai.

Delhi minister Gopal Rai, who got back from Mumbai following a drawn out stay because of clinical reasons, Thursday assumed responsibility for the Environment, Development and General Administration Departments, authorities said.Mr Rai had gone to Mumbai last month for a subsequent treatment for a spinal physical issue. The portfolios he held prior to going to Mumbai were briefly apportioned to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

“In exercise of forces gave under Rule 6 of GNCTD (Allocation of Business) Rules 1993, the Lt Governor, in meeting of the Chief Minister, is satisfied to dispense arrangement of Development, General Administration Department, and Environment, Forest and Wildlife to Gopal Rai, Minister,” said a Delhi government warning gave Wednesday.

Three-and-a-half years ago,Mr Rai had gone through treatment for his physical issue at Apollo Hospitals.

In December last year, he went to Mumbai after he felt shortcoming in his muscles and was thinking that its hard to work.

His follow-up last month was supposed to be carried out earlier, but due to the second wave of coronavirus, he had to postpone the visit.
