Annu started with a 50.35m throw and improved to 53.19m in his second attempt in Group A, which had 14 competitors.
The 29-year-old woman took a lot of effort to reach the 12 women’s finals. Although she improved slightly, she did not approach the 63-meter automatic qualifying competition.
This effort is also far below his personal best of 63.24 million in the Confederations Cup earlier this year. Maria Andrejczyk from Poland is the only pitcher who is automatically qualified when throwing a 65.25 m spear for the first time.
