Gujarat Police Take In Custody Gangster Ravi Pujari In The 2017 Case.

The Ahmedabad Crime Branch on Monday took the custody of Gangster Ravi Pujari from a Bengaluru prison regarding a 2017 shooting case, in which a city councilor of Borsad town of Anand locale in Gujarat was assaulted purportedly at his command, authorities said.
Around 20 criminal cases, including of coercion and endeavor to kill, were enlisted against Pujari in Gujarat alone, said Chaitanya Mandlik, a senior police official.
Of these, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch is researching 14 cases, he said.
Pujari was held up in a prison in Bengaluru following his removal to India from Senegal last year.
“We had looked for his care to examine his job in the 2017 shooting case in Borsad town,” said Mr Mandlik.
Another authority said a court in Bengaluru had remanded Pujari into the care of the wrongdoing branch for 30 days. He added that Pujari will be delivered before a justice in Borsad in the coming days.
The episode occurred on January 13, 2017, when three rounds were terminated at autonomous councilor of Borsad district Pragnesh Patel from a point clear reach in Borsad by two attackers, who were subsequently captured by the Gujarat police alongside a third associate.
Mr Patel, who was harmed in the assault, at last recuperated. Pujari had assumed the liability of the assault.
