Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday “as he gives off an impression of being the key schemer”, said the Mumbai Police, adding they have adequate proof against him.
Entertainer Shilpa Shetty’s wife of Businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Mumbai police over a case including porn movies. The Mumbai Police said they arrested Mr Kundra on Monday “as he has all the earmarks of being the critical backstabber of this”.
The police likewise said they have “adequate proof” against him, however they added that further examinations are in progress.
The case – including formation of obscene movies and distributing them through some applications – was enrolled with the Mumbai Crime Branch in February this year.
“There was a case enlisted with the Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about formation of porn movies and distributing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra for this situation on 19/7/21 as he has all the earmarks of being the critical backstabber of this. We have adequate confirmations with respect to this,” the Mumbai Police Commissioner said in a statement.
Denying any bad behavior, Raj Kundra had looked for expectant bail for the situation.
