The Gherao Council Has No Plan. Protesters Will Have ID Badges: Farmer Leader.
Bharatiya Kisan Morcha (R) pioneer Balbir Singh Rajewal said farmer associations had met the Delhi Police and looked for authorization for a ‘kisan sansad’ in Jantar Mantar, where around 200 dissidents will assemble.
There will be no ‘gherao’ of the Parliament during the proposed farmers’ protest against the Center’s farm bills on 22nd July, said Bharatiya Kisan Morcha (R) pioneer Balbir Singh Rajewal on Sunday, after the Delhi Police denied consent for the dissent.
Mr Rajewal said that rancher associations had met the Delhi Police at the Mantram resort close to the Singhu line and looked for consent for a ‘kisan sansad’ in Jantar Mantar, where around 200 nonconformists will assemble.
“We have imparted our program to the Delhi Police. From July 22, 200 ranchers will arrive at Jantar Mantar by transport and hold a kisan sansad. There has never been discussion of a gherao to the Parliament,” the farmer chief said.
“farmers who will go to Jantar Mantar will be given ID cards from the Kisan United Front. Any individual who doesn’t have an ID card won’t be permitted to take part,” he added.
farmer associations are wanting to dissent from July 22 till the finish of the Parliament’s monsoon meeting to request the rejecting of the disagreeable homestead laws and a lawful assurance on MSP.
As indicated by police sources, Delhi Police authorities proposed that farmers think about elective scenes in the public capital for the dissent.
Another Farmerer chief from Madhya Pradesh Shivkumar Kakka said, “We told the Delhi Police that 200 individuals will walk to Parliament from Singhu line each day. Every individual will have an ID identification. We’ll give up a rundown of dissidents to the public authority.”
“The police requested us to lessen the number from protestors, which we declined. In the event that they don’t give authorization we will pass forcibly,” he added.
bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) pioneer Rakesh Tikait had on Wednesday said that the dissent would be “serene.”
Prior, the nation had seen savagery on Republic Day when protestors arrived at Red Fort as a piece of their farm truck rally fight. On January 26, dissenters had broken blockades to enter New Delhi and conflicted with police in a few pieces of the public capital during the work vehicle rally fight coordinated by farmers.
The protestors had likewise entered the Red Fort landmark and spread out banners from its bulwarks.
The Delhi Police has kept in touch with the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation to keep additional vigil at seven metro stations and close them if necessary, taking into account farmers’ dissent close to Parliament.
Farmers have been fighting on the various lines of the national capital since 26th November last year against the three recently sanctioned homestead laws: Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and homestead Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
farmer pioneers and the Center have held a few rounds of talks yet the stalemate remains.
