Police said on Tuesday: A couple has been arrested for killing an old lady and throwing her body into a canel in Delhi’s Najafgarh region. The couple had taken an advance of ₹ 1 Lakh from the lady and couldn’t take pay of it.
Anil Arya and his wife Tanu have conceded their wrongdoing and told police that they cut the body into numerous pieces prior to tossing it in the Najafgarh waterway, senior police official Santosh Meena said.
Police have now recovered the 75-year-elderly person’s body from the trench.
