Previous India all-rounder Suresh Raina, who reported his retirement from worldwide cricket around the same time as Dhoni did, tweeted a photograph montage of the couple.
Dhoni, who made his global introduction against Bangladesh in 2004, proceeded to play 538 matches across designs during his 16-year-long profession.
Dhoni played 350 One-Day Internationals, 90 Tests and 98 Twenty20 Internationals for India. His last appearance in a global game came in July 2019, when India lost to New Zealand in the semi-last of the World Cup.
On August 15, 2020, Dhoni took to Instagram to report his retirement from global cricket. “You rock for ur love and backing throughout.from 1929 hrs think about me as Retired,” Dhoni posted a video on Instagram highlighting pieces from his vocation.
