In South Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, Cops Investigate Couple’s Alleged “Murder-Suicide.”
Delhi Vasant Kunj Murder-Suicide Case: According to the Delhi Police, a warmed contention broke out between Jahid Ali and 53-year-old Nazneen on Thursday evening, following which the man supposedly hit his significant other on the head with a dull article and killed her.
New Delhi: A 61-year-elderly person purportedly killed his better half and afterward balanced himself in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Kunj evidently after a warmed contention, police said on Friday.
“The couple used to battle regularly, however the specific explanation for the speculated murder-self destruction isn’t known at this point, and the matter is being explored,” they told news office Press Trust of India.
“No self destruction note has been recuperated from the house,” the police said.
As per the police, a warmed contention broke out between Jahid Ali and 53-year-old Nazneen on Thursday evening, following which the man purportedly hit his better half on the head with a dull article and killed her, revealed news organization PTI.
“He then purportedly balanced himself from a roof fan,” the police disclosed to Press Trust of India.
A few’s 16-year-old child, a Class 12 understudy, educated a neigbhour concerning the episode who then, at that point educated the police, a senior official said.
“We got a PCR call around 7:25 pm on Thursday. Preliminary investigation suggested that the man killed his wife using a blunt object and later hanged himself. But no suicide was recovered from the spot. The couple often fought but the exact reason for their quarrel on the day of incident is being investigated,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Ingit Pratap Singh said.
“The bodies will be handed over after a forensic examination, and legal action will be initiated based on its report,” he said.
“The weapon of offence has, however, not been recovered yet,” the senior cop added.
Nazneen had some years ago lodged a case of domestic violence against her husband in a court, the police said.
