Harish Rawat; ‘Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Reason To Quit Biggest Lie’.
“What can be a greater lie than this that byelections can’t be held in Uttarakhand because of COVID and the central clergyman is leaving because of protected impulse,” Harish Rawat said.
Dehradun: Veteran Congress pioneer Harish Rawat on Friday said Tirath Singh Rawat’s acquiescence as Uttarakhand Chief Minister because of established impulse and byelections can’t be held in the state because of COVID is the greatest untruth.
“What can be a greater lie than this that byelections can’t be held in Uttarakhand because of COVID and the central clergyman is leaving because of protected impulse. Actually byelections have been held before in a similar COVID period. The byelection has been held in Salt (a gathering voting demographic in Uttarakhand). The main priest might have challenged from that point additionally,” tweeted Mr Rawat.
“By making resignations of others from elsewhere, he could challenge races from that point. Be that as it may, because of the absence of complete information on the law, another Chief Minister has been forced on the state. In five years, BJP is giving three boss clergymen to Uttarakhand,” added the previous boss priest of Uttarakhand.
Tirath Singh Rawat surrendered as boss pastor of Uttarakhand on Friday.
“I have presented my renunciation to Governor. Given the sacred emergency, I felt it was ideal for me to leave. I’m appreciative to the focal authority and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for each chance they have given to me up until now,” Tirath Rawat told journalists.
He presented his renunciation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya hours after he tended to a question and answer session.
“Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat presented his abdication letter from the post of Chief Minister at Raj Bhawan,” Ms Maurya not long after his renunciation.
The renunciation came under four months after Tirath Rawat took over as Chief Minister supplanting Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Tirath Singh Rawat is a MP from Garhwal.
