Subramanian Swamy seeks Delhi L-G’s savction to Prosecute Kejriwal
Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy today looked for the Lt Governor’s endorse for starting arraignment against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for supposedly supporting a privately owned business amid his brief government in 2014.
Rajya Sabha part Swamy, in a letter to Lt Governor Anil Baijal, said he had likewise looked for the sanction to prosecute Kejriwal and his agent Manish Sisodia under the Prevention of Corruption Act, from the past L-G.
“In any case, regardless of a few oral updates, the authorization was neither given nor denied,” the letter says.
“Subsequently I compose this letter to urge you to consider the application and allow me a sanction to indict Kejriwal and Sisodia under the Prevention of Corruption Act,” Swamy said in the letter.
