Cognizant Acquires Brilliant Services Co, Japanese Digital Firm
As part of its buyout spree, Cognizant stated that it has acquired Brilliant Services Co, a digital IT firm for an undisclosed amount.
In 2004, Brilliant Service was established which has near about seventy employees. It helps customers build connected businesses by making use of smart device solutions.
Cognizant Asia Pacific Head, Jayajyoti Sengupta stated that, the Japanese company’s vast experience in planning, managing and implementing smart and connected device solutions along with their understanding of the regulatory requirements for the Japanese market will help complement the digital service offerings of Cognizant in Japan.
The new acquisition will help expand the presence of Cognizant in Tokyo and Osaka.
Brilliant Service CEO, Yoshihiko Sugimoto stated that, by becoming a part of Cognizant, the company can expand its capabilities to deliver integrated solutions to its customers and pursue better growth opportunities.
