Power Grid Bags 765kV Transmission Project in Eastern Region
In the eastern region, Power Grid Corporation has been able to win a 765kV transmission project after a competitive round of bidding conducted by PFC Consulting.
Based on the bid document, the project consists of setting up of a 765/400kV, 2x1500MVA substations at Medinipur along with establishment of 765/400kV, 2x1500MVA substations at Jeerat, West Bengal.
In a BSE filing, Power Grid Corporation stated that, it has been declared as the successful bidder unde3r tariff-based competitive bidding to establish ‘765kV Strengthening in Eastern Region’ on build, own, operate and maintain basis.
