Amitabh Bachchan Donates Rs 51 lakh to Kirori Mal Alma Mater
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently donated Rs 51 lakh to Delhi’s Kirori Mal College from where he completed his graduation degree which will be used for building an auditorium.
On Wednesday at an event, Mr. Bachchan spoke about his college days he spent in the Delhi University Campus. During the alumni meet and fundraising for the auditorium, Amitabh bachchan said that, the experiences of the school and college days never fade away from our lives.
He also stated that, people keep on recalling the memories of the school and college days and it stays like a mirror, never letting us forget those days.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, others who attended the event included Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan and Vijay Krishna Acharya.
Mr. Bachchan said that, from Kirori Mal various acclaimed filmmakers have passed out and it would be a great idea to build an auditorium in memory of famous drama teacher, Frank Thakurdas.
Amitabh Bachchan joined Kirori Mal in 1959 and passed out in 1962.
