Protest against Rishi Kappor in M.P. by Cow Vigilantes Regarding his Past Beef Eating Remark
In Hoshangabad, Bajrang Dal activists along with cow vigilantes staged their protest against Rishi Kapoor. The actor had come there to attend the function of a private college. The protest was staged against his beef eating remark which he made last year.
Slogans were shouted against Rishi Kapoor and the protesters also burnt his effigy after they assembled Hoshangabad Nehru park crossing. Black flags were also raised by the protesters. According to the protesters, they were offended by the remarks of the actor and Rishi Kapoor should apologise publicly for the same.
Last year in March, Rishi Kapoor created a lot of controversy after he tweeted, “I am angry. Why do you equate food with religion?? I am a beef eating Hindu. Does that mean I am less God fearing then a non eater? Think!!”
Also in a different in a different tweet he stated, “Knew this would go wrong! When did I say I have “Gau Maas” and I kill cows? Yes I eat beef where cattle are bred for food legally Not in India.”
