Porche Macan R4 launched in India at Rs 76.84L
NEW DELHI: Porsche launched the Macan R4 SUV at Rs 76.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India on Tuesday. At this price, it is the least expensive Porsche that money can buy in the country. This is the fourth Macan variant to become available in India, after the S Diesel, Turbo and Turbo with Performance Package. Powering the Macan R4 is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to produce 252PS of power and 370Nm of torque. The power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. Porsche claims that the Macan R4 can complete the 0-100kmph sprint in a mere 6.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 229kmph. In order to deliver all the power in a linear manner, the Macan R4 is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) air suspension feature.
The feature list includes three-zone automatic climate control system, voice recognition, traction control system, a seven-inch Porsche Communication Management (PCM) touchscreen infotainment system, eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, powered tailgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, daytime running LEDs and a multi-function steering wheel with paddle-shifters. Customers can also opt for personalisation options such as bi-xenon or LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof and heated seats.
