Jayalalithaa hospitalised with fever, dehydration

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai with fever and dehydration late on Thursday.

A press release from Apollo Hospitals stated that Ms. Jayalalithaa was “stable and under observation”.

“The honourable chief minister of Tamil Nadu was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Chennai with fever and dehydration,” Dr.Viswanathan from the hospital said in a release circulated to media by the state government in the wee hours on Friday.
