Dayashankar’s wife to file FIR against Mayawati, BSP protestors
LUCKNOW: Expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh’s wife on Friday said she will lodge an FIR against BSP supremo Mayawati and her supporters who had used foul and derogatory language for her minor daughter and family.
Speaking on Friday on morning, Swati said that her family was unnecessarily being dragged into the controversy which is being fuelled for political gains.
Swati, a former lecturer at Lucknow University, earlier on Thursday said BSP protesters have been using “highly derogatory” words against them. “What crime has my daughter committed that BSP workers are abusing us,” asked Swati. “If the same words can hurt Mayawatiji, why will they not hurt us, particularly my daughter. She has gone through acute mental trauma after she heard the nasty words inflicted on her,” said Swati, who also has a son. The family, she said, has been getting threats and is on the move to escape any untoward incident.
Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday had conducted raids at many places to trace Dayashankar Singh who is absconding since the BSP workers lodged FIR against him. The BSP workers are protesting against the derogatory remarks made by the expelled BJP leader against party chief Mayawati.
