Jamia cancels BDS entrance examination
Jamia Millia Islamia on Tuesday announced the cancellation of its Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) entrance exam and said it will admit students through the CBSE’s National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
The move came after the Supreme Court order made NEET compulsory for all medical entrance examinations. “As per the order of the Supreme Court regarding NEET administered by the CBSE, Jamia’s BDS entrance examination scheduled for June 3 stands cancelled,” a statement read.
While NEET-1 was held on May 1, NEET-2 is scheduled for July 24.
