Fadnavis congratulates Modi, Shah
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah for the party’s “historic win” in Assam and for making inroads in Kerala and West Bengal.
“Heartiest congratulations to Modi ji and Shah ji for the historic and grand win in Assam,” Mr. Fadnavis tweeted.
“Assam victory and BJP’s entry in legislative houses of Kerala and West Bengal is only because of toiling of lakhs of karyakartas . My salutes,” the CM said in another tweet.
He also congratulated the Chief Ministers Mamata Banerjee and Jayalalithaa for their victories in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu respectively.
Meanwhile, the Sharad Pawar-led NCP said it would be part of the new LDF government in Kerala.The NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said, “NCP has won two seats in the Assembly polls.
