Three killed in two accidents on National Highway
Two retired BSNL officials were killed after the two-wheeler they were riding collided with a car on National Highway 7 at Boodhipuram pass near here on Sunday.
The deceased were Gandhi alias Palanisamy (55) of Alakuvarpatti and Arasan (60) of Kallipatti. While Arasan died on the spot, Palanisamy succumbed to his injuries on the way to Rajaji Government Hospital in Madurai.
In another incident, Kasi Rajan (45) of Chennamanaickenpatti was killed after an unidentified vehicle knocked down his two-wheeler on National Highway 7 near Thadikombu and fled away.
