Road rage ‘killer’ Rocky Yadav loved guns, his Facebook profile suggests
Patna: Rakesh Ranjan Yadav alias Rocky has been ostensibly the most searched man from Bihar on Facebook since May 7 night when the 23-year-old son of a Bihar MLC allegedly shot dead a schoolboy for overtaking his high-end Range Rover. The searches numbered 1,44,287 till Tuesday evening, and it was counting.At least 53,748 people searched for Rakesh Ranjan Yadav (the name in which his FB profile has been created), 69,789 for Rocky Yadav and 20,750 for Rocky Yadav Gaya — till Tuesday evening. The profile does not contain any information related to his studies or profession. It has only photos that display his muscle power.
One picture posted on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja has ten automatic rifles placed together at what appears to be a ‘puja’. Another photo posted on October 13, 2012 shows him with four others with rifles on their shoulders. This photo is captioned, ‘MY Snipers 4 a terror watch-in Gaya, India’.Yet another photo posted on August 11, 2015 has in the frame Rocky with a pistol each in his hands. Liked by 117, this one is captioned, ‘Testing the new ones’.
The account holder has also shared a somewhat indecent video on his timeline, in which two girls are dancing in a victory procession after the win of JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance in last year’s assembly election. The girls are dancing in the backdrop of posters that have Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and slogans like ‘Jhaanse mein na aayenge, Nitish ko jitayenge’.
On the other hand, the Facebook page created for ‘Justice for Aditya Sachdeva’ received 8351 likes till Tuesday evening. Hari Singh, a Delhi-based BPO employee who along with his friends created this page, said, “We do not know Aditya personally, but after we came to know about this incident, we were really upset. Such incidents by politicians’ relatives are not new, but we need to stand together and fight against them.
Referring to Rocky’s FB profile, Hari said, “Look at the kind of photos he has posted. There are firearms which common people are not allowed to keep…”
