AIADMK has failed on many fronts: Sonia
Sharing the stage with DMK chief M. Karunanidhi for the first time in over five years, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, on Thursday, slammed the AIADMK government for failing to help the people during the December floods and supporting the anti-people policies of the Centre in Parliament.
“The AIADMK government did not help the people [during the floods]. It was the people who helped each other,” she charged.
When the DMK was in power, the State was in news for the innumerable industries the government brought. But now, growth had virtually come to an end.
“Factories are shutting down every day and investors have moved to the neighbouring States,” she alleged.
