Vadodara Gas Ltd to inaugurate CNG station at Nizampura
Vadodara: Vadodara Gas Ltd (VGL) – a joint venture company formed by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation and GAIL Gas Ltd, will inaugurate the first CNG fuel station built by the company on Tuesday. Chief minister Anandiben Patel will kick off operations of the project during a visit to the city on the day.
VGL sources said that the station coming up at Nizampura will be a mother station and it will be the third station of its kind of VGL in the city. The company has seven other stations out of which one is an online station while six others are daughter stations.
All CNG stations to be built before the present one were those of GAIL Gas Ltd. The CNG station at Nizampura has come up at a cost of Rs 18.5 crore on a plot of 1,600 square meters.
