MLA Bhaskar Reddy taken into custody days after he slapped Air India official
CHITTOOR: After a frantic search for Chandragiri YSR Congress MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy who allegedly slapped the Air India airport manager at Renigunta airport, Tirupati was finally taken into custody by the Chittoor district police.
According to the Yerepedu SI Rama Krishna, the MLA assaulted Air India manager S Rajasekhar on November 26 along with 15 other members including Rajampet MP P Mithun Reddy for not issuing boarding passes to his followers as they were late by 15 minutes.
The MLA surrendered to the police after his petition was turned down by the court two days back.
Mr Reddy against whom the sections 325, 457, 320 are registered is produced before junior civil first class magistrate Subba Reddy.
