Income Tax raids on “Bruce Lee” film team
HYDERABAD: With just a day to go for the release of Ram Charan Tej-starrer “Bruce Lee”, income tax authorities conducted raids on the movie’s director and producer and a couple of other bigwigs of the Telugu film industry. The big-budget movie is set for release in the maximum number of theatres both in AP and Telangana.
IT officials conducted searches at the residences, offices and some relatives of well-known director Srinu Vaitla and producer D V V Danayya. Their film will hit the theatres on Friday.
Raids were also conducted producer ‘Dil’ Raju and music director Thaman. Thaman is also the music director for “Bruce Lee”. Dil Raju is the distributor for the film in the Nizam territory. He is also the distributor for the recently released “Rudramadevi”.
